Who I am

This website is run by Alison Haste, trading as True Voice Animal Communicator, Ross-on-Wye, Herefordshire, HR9 5QU. I am responsible for your personal information (the “data controller”). You can contact me on 07779 145350 or at alihaste@btinternet.com.

What I collect

If you send a message through the contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
If you book a session through the consultation form: your name and contact details, your relationship to your animal and how you heard about me if you tell me, details about your animal including their photograph and any health or behaviour background, your questions and messages for them, and anything else you choose to tell me.
If you call, email or message me: whatever you send me.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, to carry out your session and give you your feedback, and to arrange payment. I don’t use it for marketing, and I never sell or share it with anyone else.

The legal basis for this is that you’ve asked me to provide a service (taking steps before, and carrying out, a contract with you). I keep payment records because the law requires me to.

Sessions can touch on personal and sensitive matters. Everything you share with me is treated in confidence.

Where it goes

Forms on this site are delivered straight to my email inbox. The company that hosts the website handles your form as it passes through, and keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Payments are handled by my bank or card provider.

To keep out spam, the contact and booking pages use Cloudflare Turnstile, a “Verify you are human” check run by Cloudflare, the company that hosts this website. It looks at technical details such as your IP address and browser, only to tell people from spam robots, not to track you or show you adverts. Cloudflare’s Turnstile privacy notice has the details.

How long I keep it

I keep your information only for as long as I need it to support you and your animal, and keep payment records for as long as the law requires. You can ask me to delete your information at any time.

Cookies

This website doesn’t use analytics or any other tracking, and sets no cookies of its own. The fonts and images are stored on the site itself, so visiting it doesn’t send your details to anyone else. The one exception is the spam check on the contact and booking pages, described above.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to how I use it. Just get in touch. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
